Information
Folio is the largest paper size in the Books series proceeding with quarto, octavo and so one. These are common terms that describe the sizes of modern books. The cover of the book is usually used to measure the size of the book. The original sheet of paper that was used to produce the book is the key element to describe the size and proportions of the book. A very common paperback size in the United Kingdom is the B Format with a size of 129mm by 198mm. Some other terms used in the Book series are the Elephant Folio which is 23 inches tall, Double Elephant Folio which is 50 inches tall and Atlas Folio which is 25 inches tall.
