Information

Just like the A series, B series paper sizes and dimensions are also defined by the ISO 216 international paper size standard. Although B series is not as common as the A series, this category of paper sizes has been very popular around the world for a very long time. The B series was originally created with the goal to provide us the paper sizes that the A series didn’t provide. Just like the A series, the B series also has an aspect ratio of 1:√2. The height and width of a Bn format area is the geometric mean between the An and the succeeding larger A(n-1) format. This means that B1 is between A0 and A1 in size. The B series is mostly used for prints like envelopes, passports, posters or books.
